The CHÁP4 were presented to the public with this designation for the first time in 2018, the result of a meeting of musicians and friends.
But before long, they were all part of other projects known to Madeira people, such as Eduardo Santana / Flávio Martinho - (The Grumpies), Vítor Abreu - (Cool Feel Band) Lino Ornelas (Jamie & The Marx), Miguel Pires (Miguel Pires Power Trio).
They assume to be a different and undoubtedly unique project in the region.
The Concert
The CHÁP4 interprets themes in Portuguese, basing their repertoire on songs that cross several generations. It will not be different at the festival, where among the various covers performed by the band, we can revisit Xutos & Pontapés, Resistência, Delfins, Rádio Macau, among others, with the purpose of valuing the national music.
The band's repertoire has been carefully chosen so that the interaction with Portuguese public is easy and natural.
